Finally some LO's from the xtreme weekend

This was the Hambly Minibook class were we made a little minibook using Hambly transparencies and some ribbon, buttons and fabric. It was really cool to learn some tips about making such a transparent book. I didn't finish it in the class so I still have one page to add, but I took some pics of Adrienne's so I guess I will be fine!!!

These 2 LO'S are from the Freestyle class. At first I didn't really like the sequins, but once I started and picked that water picture and my paint colors I really liked how it turned out and made me think of the shimmering water in a pool.
We used some painted icecream or popsicle sticks on this LO too. Don't know if I will be able to get these here!!

In the second freestyle LO I used some tiny pics ( 2.5cm x 2.5 cm) from the 70' and 80's.

This is from the "altering embellishment" class were we used lollipop sticks and a stitching grid (?) and some buttons and paint to create our LO. I didn't even bother about using a ruler - just handcut my circles too!! In the close up you can also see the the 3D paint used on the PP:

xtreme weekend in Katwijk

Last friday Felix and me slept at my parents' so my dad and me were able to get up at 5 am saturday morning to drive 3.5 hours to get to Katijk aan Zee in the Netherlands. Noooo, my dad doesn't scrap!!! But he was nice enough to be my driver and enjoy a day at the see!!!
I took three workshops from Adrienne Looman and I really likes the projects we did!!
Since I still have to put some finishing touches to my LO's I will post some pictures later!!
Of course I did some shopping too. Finally got some Hambly overlays and some of these too; along with some other goodies.
